I'm planning on using an original, period radio. There is no need to hide the antenna. It seems to me a hidden antenna would be out of place. If I was using a modern radio in the glove box, I could see hiding the antenna. The dual side mount type antenna looks good to me. I see on Alan Horvath's site he mentions the new ones from Chevy Duty have plastic mounts, not metal. Anyone know who has the metal mount types?
