what you would need is a plug that went into the headphone jack of the ipod. the other end of the cable would need to be the red and white plugs that go into the amp, justlike out of the back of a stereo. the amp will have "rca" plugs in it. I am not sure if this is an approved use of the ipod and i also would probably want to know it worked before i tried it on mine. but you are on the right track, i say if it works and makes you happy then do it. they also make a radio frequency remote for the ipod that would make it so you coulp put a mounting place for it in the glovebox when it is plugged into the amp and you could control it with the remote from inside the cab. anyway, good luck man.
