My 1946 1-1/2 ton pickup has a 9' factory bed. The same bed was used at least back to the mid-30's. I've also got an old ad from Oct. '31 that shows an "open express" (pickup) body on a 157" wheelbase. Because my '46 is 134.5" wheelbase, the '31 would surely be longer than 9'.
