| | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | I think that you'll find that any stain will require some sort of top coat to survive in an outdoor environment. Most I've seen suggest marine spar varnish. If you're wanting to stay away from a glossy finish, they do make spar varnish in semi-gloss and flat finish.
