| | | | Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 580 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 580 | If you are refering to the six recessed washers in the bed wood, the reason is that carriage bolts go thru them and the offset washers restrain the bolt heads from turning while the hex nuts are being tightened from the bottom. | | |
