Thanks for responding. It appears these dimensions given may not be correct and should be modified before just cutting the boards. Your suggestion of test fitting all boards before cutting the grooves would eliminate a lot of extra work to fix problems after the fact.
We cut bedwood according to this drawing,
http://www.mar-k.com/bedwood_dimensions.pdf and have sold thousands of sets of bedwood. It requires that you actually measure the spacing of bed strips and cut the wood to fit. I recommend anyone cutting their own wood to make these basic measurements and develop their own wood dimensions for their own truck. Even then, some scrap pieces should be cut to the width dimension to test the fit in the truck. The width hard to get correct but it is critical.
