This is a little disappointing, if I am hearing correctly, it seems that varnishing the bed wood lasts up to a year at best and months at worse before needing to be redone? I was hoping that it would last years in the Florida sun with only yearly waxing? Maybe I should just paint the bed black, like the originals?
