The other carbs will work but lose a little power because of smaller bore & venturi. Usually when you buy a rebuilt carb. they are the smaller one & nobody knows the difference. There are 2 different bolt paterns on fans. It originally had the large one but some water pumps are drilled for both. Universal fans have slots for any pattern.
