It was very clean but the air horn had been beaten up really bad from a previous owner probably with a stuck float. The main jet that came in it was way too big and had to be swapped out. Unless your carburetor has a problem I would keep it and order a kit. Have a old local mechanic dip it and rebuild it if you are not comfortable doing so yourself. You'll probably come out cheaper too.
