It is a pre-war '42 (I think??) The grill has no chrome on it.

I will have to lower the stock radiator as the fan blades hit the lower radiator neck. There is enough metal on the radiator to do this--I just have to drill some new holes.

The throttle linkage will have to be shortened about 2".

This engine came with solenoid starter. I remember reading something about the bendix and starter teeth being different between the stock six and 12 volt starters and sure enough the 12 volt starter is a little smaller all around. This means I can't use my foot starter anymore, but I'll survive. In the lower left corner of the dash is a button labeled 'start'. I have always been a little curious about that button--it that stock?? I will use this location for my new starter switch.

I hope to get back to the truck this weekend and get it finished--I am almost finished with a tractor I overhauled and need the truck to transport the tractor back to it's home. I'll try to remember the camera this weekend. The truck looks a little funny with the front clip removed and laying in pieces on the bed.
