Homer has asked a question we've always wanted to ask. The carburator on our stock '51 3100 has a box on the front of the airhorn with Rochester diagonally in the middle, C in the upper left corner, and GM in the lower right corner. The box is just above the fuel inlet. It has a manual choke. We rebuilt it successfully with a Rochester B rebuild kit, but always wondered what the 'C' stood for.
