STMFALCO Junior Member S Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 1 LONG ISLAND, N.Y.	I am trying to find info on my truck,a 1942 1 ton chevy pickup that i'm restoring. I have had no problem locating parts but would like to know when it was made, orig. color, military or civilian, who owned it, etc.... The 9 digit vin doesn't seem to give me all the answers.Any help is appreciated
