All you need is the back plate (figure eight looking thingy) and yoke. Make sure the new open yoke has ten splines (I heard some 60's SM420s had different splines).
I am using the driveshaft out of a '55-1 LWB GMC. It bolts right up, except for the rear u-joint. I can get a "junk joint" for that. | | |
