| | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 7 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: May 2000 Posts: 7 | Did it last weekend. All you need is the back plate (figure eight looking thingy) and yoke. Make sure the new open yoke has ten splines (I heard some 60's SM420s had different splines).
I am using the driveshaft out of a '55-1 LWB GMC. It bolts right up, except for the rear u-joint. I can get a "junk joint" for that. | | |
