Well not actually complete because I wanted to put the pistons in and put the head on. I have been meaning to ask you folks out here about the proper torque specs on the end caps and the torque specs and bolt pattern for my head. After reading Ftyler's post I realized that I should not take this topic lightly!
Can anyone provide the info that I need for a 55 1st 270? I would also like to know what manual would have this information in it. I have several but none speak about the engine itself, only about construction of the truck itself. Is it the Maintenance manual or the Shop manual or what that I need?
