Had to "cut the dash out" to see the hole??? Is it just water frozen type break in back? Maybe if parts laying around the hole, you can have welded/brazed back in. If it was on side and a rod, NEVER MIND! You buy trucks like I do, the "dreams" cloud up your mind and you can't see the "crap" you really ARE getting!
