I've got about 1500 miles on the 61 Apache since rebuild. It's been running fine and not burning any oil. It was very cold here this morning, about 25 degrees. The engine started fine and I drove the Apache to work. After about 25 miles when the engine was completely warmed up I noticed a puff of smoke---couldn't tell if it was white, blue or gray---coming out of the exhaust pipe when shifting from second into third. I have not noticed this before and am a little concerned. Could it be because of the colder weather? I've driven it all summer without noticing this, but this morning was the coldest weather I have driven it in. There was no visible smoke any other time, just when shifting from second to third. Any thoughts? Thanks.
