chip, it is a closed stock 52 drive train. the reason I asked was the book said to fill the speed cable plug area, I did not do this, but the transmission plug area seemed to be ok,these did not have bent locks, just 2 bolts with a self made retainer in them,I am back at work, but I did tighten the 4 collar bolts again,I do not have a torque wrench and I did make a turn or two on each one, I refilled the speed cable area but It will be late tomorrow afternoon before I hook up the gear shift and floor board area,should I use some blue permtex around this collar gasket area, I trying this before I undo the collar and u- joint area, If it is not noisy,I will drive and check for leaks, I know for sure that it does not leak when it is sitting still. I will be checking the bolt thru out the night for any response,,,,thanks,...Fred
