I don't know how this rates with the big trucks, but my 1952 Chris Craft Sportsman had the MBL engine which was the biggest Chris Craft ever made. Flat head 6, huge 1bbl updraft carb, bronze exhaust, and a ghastly looking open flywheel. Transmission was mounted to what would have been the front of the engine if it had been in a car, but they put them in backwards so they could angle them towards the prop. Anyway it was 158 h.p., and there is no match for the sweet sound of a water cooled exhaust burbling through the water.
Compared to my 235, this engine was a beast.
