If its the original 4-speed they used the same from 40-something to 67 or so. The differences depended on application, but all you care about is if you have the right belhousing to go between the transmission and the V-8.

I don't remember if the change was for '62 or after '62, the later bellhousing fits both the six and V-8, the earlier does not, and you'll need a pickup type V-8 bellhousing to have the correct mounts to attach it to the frame.
