Friend of mine was traveling I70 near Topeka the other day. He sets the cruise on his Bonneville, which holds within one mph, even on most hills. Well, some gal in an Exploder started to pass him, then slowed and drove beside him for a few miles. Of course, the cellphone was in her ear. She kept speeding up and slowing down, but ended up beside him for some time. Wanting to make a call before he got to Topeka, he dialed the number and punched the button for his hands free phone. At this time he was nearing the cell tower, and this gal was driving with her rear bumper near his front wheel.
Not even realizing what he was doing, when he heard his phone connect, he shouted: Lady, get off your phone the the f*** out of my way!
Immediately, he saw her pull the phone about a foot from her ear, and she sped up and left him in her dust. His cell phone went dead, didn't make the connection to the number he called, but, through an intermod override, got the message through to her!
Now, if we could make this happen when we want it too...
