I've dealt with two Ad steeing boxes. There was a discussion on here maybe about two years ago and there was a few different lubes people were useing. I picked up on 90wt.. Tried it and leaked. Am useing what didn't all leak out and bearing grease right now. For a little over a year is holding up good. As for any additive I've never noticed a quick big difference. Like with Prolong I even called them, they sure want you to substitute alot and that stuff seems real light. So I used about a quarter in the tranny of the Dodge again no big difference I'm going to take it out. In the '54 I used Slick 50 tranny, maybe it's a little easier to shift. As for adding to engine oil to quite valves and such nothing has worked better than keeping them adjusted and useing a GOOD qaulity oil with frequint changes.
