Pulled the valve cover on my recently rebuilt 235 only to discover that the rocker assembly is as dry as a bone. Rockers even have surface rust, so I think that the oil has never gotten up there.

I thought things sounded a little clickety-clackety but thought maybe the valves needed adjusting after a couple hundred miles of break in.

I have plenty of oil pressure 40 - 50 lbs., and dipstick shows full.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
