How much better would the 3:55 gears (avail from Patrick's) be vs. 3.90 in a 58 Stepside with 235, 3 speed, 6.70X15 tires? The 3:55's are about 9% higher but will that make much of a difference in highway driving vs. going from 4:11 to 3:55, a jump of almost 14%.
Does anyone know what RPM a 235 would turn at 50MPH for the different ratios?
