It's recently turned very cold. 327 engine started with ether in the carb, easily a couple days ago on seperate occasions. Been hard to start without a shot of ether. Truck does not run everyday, been used little recently. Today, after many attempts, it finally fired up for less than 10 seconds (running smooth), then shut down and could not restart even with the ether. Could the cold be affecting the fuel pump? Suggestions? How can I get good strong starts even with non-daily use, in winter too...thanks.
