I want to maintain the cannister set up and not convert to a spin-on type. I'm trying to find a good new/reproduction one to replace my cracked one. I don't really trust a used one on my newly rebuilt 327. Does anyone know of a source for older hard-to-find SB parts? Every supplier I've tried has the wrong kind or it's a discontinued part. I ordered the one from Classic Industries but it's not the same as what I had. There's no way it will mount up.
Any leads would be appreciated.
