This was discussed here not a couple of weeks ago. Most of use agree that the head bolts are the best place. The second or third from the back on one side and the second or third from the front on the other side. Either make sure that the bolt is threaded into the head enough, or go ahead and remove the head, then pull the block and bell housing. I removed the head first. It was kind of a hassle, but there's not near as much weight to have to mess with. And, it gave me a wide choice of where to attach the chains for my hoist.
