#27416 07/16/2004 6:59 PM | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 1,586 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 1,586 | I've seen just a few L series engines in Chevies from the 6 cylinder area.All had the crossmember cut that the held the rear motor(clutch housing) mounts on the old 6's. I'm thinking you may need a older style V-8 or truck clutch housing with the removable inspection pan for clearance? Cutting out the crossmember and not replacing it isn't so good for the handling. | | |
