Definitely check the grooves on the input splines. I was pretty lucky, the first one I pulled had two grooves, just what I was looking for.
The yard sold it to me for 75 or 100 bucks (can't remember which) but only because I was buying a third member at the same time and I pulled it myself, otherwise he wanted $150.
