Why did you go with a middle seat over a front seat?
I imagine your 99 Tahoe middle seat is similiar to the middle seat in my 98 Suburban. Do you have the seats set up so they will flip out of the way for access behind the seat?
I am 6'4" and over 300 lbs and I sit in my 59 just fine with a stock seat and steering wheel. Yes it is tight, and yes the clutch and brake pedal seem high, BUT with a huge smile on my face driving down the raod I could be sitting on an open case of nails and I would still be happy!
I am hoping to install a newer seat with built in seats belts soon, maybe a Dakota bench.
