I agree, the prices do vary mostly due to the seller and buyer. If you can wait, you can find a complete unit including solenoid, switch and harness for less than two hundred or if you just gotta buy it I've seen them go for three hundred without all the other stuff. I have several and plan on using them on my fleet, I've picked up parts on ebay occasionally cheap. If you can get it reasonably complete, two fifty isn't bad, at least you will have it! I think I have seen a post here, that talks about setting one of these up without all the original parts.
