The engine has been replaced with a newer one. I contacted my local chevrolet dealer trying to find more info on the engine, but they were of no help. They said the number that I retrieved from the block was incorrect. The number came from an area just in front of the starter; it was engraved on a flat surface that looked as though it was there for that purpose. The number was 0060797F55Z. On the block as part of the casting was the number 3836233. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance! | | |
