#26480 05/07/2004 1:02 AM | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 316 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 316 | 3/4 ton has Ball bearings (front axle)............Larger (1-1/2T and up) trucks have a "barrel" type bearing that is often mistaken for a tapered roller bearing. Sadly, it is not.
