Tommy 'Bolter T Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 1,094 Metairie,La.	I Have a 261 Chevy, was quoted around $2,300 2yrs ago. Had NAPA Machine shop do boring .060 and get pistons ,ring,bearings etc. I assembled it and it actually runs. But,I have about $1,400 in it plus my time and it takes a lot of time.I say pay the man and enjoy it when it's finished. Tommy 59 apache 1/2t 261 short stepside
