All of the oil canisters that I have seen on these engines are either an AC, or Fram. Mostly Frams. I found that Chevy engine orange is just about as close to the Fram orange as you can get. That orange is available at almost all auto parts stores or from restoration paint places. All of the Fram canisters I have seen have a orange base and black lid. As someone else mentioned, you can get the origial Fram decal set from a Chevrolet reproduction parts place. I have also found that if you use an oil pan plug washer on the top, it wont scratch up your new paint as much when you tightent the top bolt down. Just something to think about.
