Can anyone give me a good baseline for setting the timing on a stock 350 with an automatic and an 600cfm edelbrock and a hei dist? I also need to know how to adjust the valves on this engine and they are hyd.What is the idle set at also? How much oil pressure should I have? The engine is out of a car but is in a 64 truck now, its a 350/300hp.One more thing,is there a modulator valve that is adjustable so that it can be adjusted so the trans does'nt shift so soon? Thanks for any help on this guys,Philip
