I put my front mono leafs on a few weeks ago. Jason is correct about the fact that it is unbolt then rebolt process. However, I can add one thing. I found that the spring eyes were just a little wide. In particular the spring eye that goes into the fixed spring mount; not the shackle end. So I had to get out the grinding wheel and shave it down just a little.

Jason also make a good point about rebuilding some of the front suspension. I found that my bushings were worn through and that the ball studs on the steering arms were showing significant signs of wear. So I have replaced all bushings on the frame. My monos came with bushings installes, so new ones there also. Then I bought new modern style tie rod ends. I bought a `53 drag link to get away from the ball studs. And then I drilled/pressed out the ball studs from the steering arms.

Definatly a lot of work, but I believe, well worth it.
