Both the small and big block ocassionally shares the same rod/stroke ratio, 1,63, which may not put anyone of them in advantage from this point, but the crank is much thicker and also the 366 has a much bigger bearing surface for about the same displacement. For a light truck I'd opt for the 366 over the 350 any time. Well, being a sick guy like I'm I'd really opt for something a li'l
bit bigger. Maybe a 454. But the fact that there was a 637V8 truck engine, I'd end up with the 637. If I were in U.S., of course.
