No offense to Jim Carter but he is totally wrong with regards to all the 1954/55 Chevrolet
Suburban interior colors that he mentions and also wrong with the upholstery color. (The GM document shown at the link matches quite well with the original colors in my 1954 Suburban.)
His write-up on 47-53 Suburbans is quite interesting.
