| | | | Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2004 Posts: 5,708 | Back in the dark ages, my friend's dad had a Chevrolet Suburban. It was the style with no windows, and I believe the entire rear door swung open on hinges. He always referred to it as the "crummy".
Many of the timber fallers in this area are provided rides into the woods to work every morning...they ride in the company "crummy"
Is this local slang...how come I have never seen this name mentioned in this forum. As Hot Rod Lincoln once said, "inquiring minds want to know".
