They are not the same.
The rear door handles are also not the same for all Advance-Design barn doors. There must have been a change somewhere between 1950 and 1954, because I have two sets of barn doors and the posts on the door handles do not match. However, as long as you have all parts of the handle and escutcheon from the same year, you should be OK for all years of barn doors.
