Wanted to rebuild trans because it grinds when shifting into 3RD. Parts man told me to just swap to a 465 because rings are not being made any more. Is this true? What are the differances between the 420 & 465 transmissions?
'64 C10-292 with TBI, 4speed, 3.42 rear
