If he says: "Get it off my property and it's yours", I would think you'd be a pretty happy guy. Not everyone gets $1500 of seats for free!
I know you want to use the seats in your '40, but at those prices I would be tempted to sell the seats and buy 3 more old trucks! Or 8 more old trucks at Minnesota prices.
