| | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,154 | HI.... the VIN number on my door plate is H540009985...so what I understand from the decoder is that the truck was built in H=Fremont,CA in 1954 and it was the 9,985 truck built at that plant...would this be correct? I was told that this number was for a 1950 Oakland, CA model? We thank you for your time and effort on this one in advance. T/C Steve  :confused:  | | |
