Howdy all, go easy on me, I'm new here.
I have a 1949 3600 (216/4sp) Im kinda tinkering with. Currently she is on a set of rotten 16 in 8 lug steelies wrapped with assorted Montgomery wards Bias-ply tires (One of which has a 4 inch whitewall ) I've seen that the bigger trucks on this forum (1.5 and 2 ton) have these semi truck-looking steel wheels, and Im very impressed with them. Im wondering if I will be able to mount a set of these wheels on my 3/4 ton. I figure I may have to change out the whole front axle, but the rear axle is where my real question lies. Can I convert my stock 3/4 ton 8 bolt rear into a 5 or 10 lug to fit these larger wheels? Or do they make them in 8 lug?
