Thought about that, but the engine smoked a bit anyway, so might as well refresh it while it's out. The block needs to be bored.
But, by the time I spend $400 at the machine shop, 400 in parts, 200 in unforeseens,, I could spend 300 more for the crate.
I would like to buy the crate for the truck and rebuild the old motor for a future rat rod that I've always wanted to build.
