Hey OldSub I have Constituted both. leaning more toward the newer open drive line with the orginal motor rebuild and a nwer t-5 trans installed. i think the newer open drive would be more user friendly to running on todays roads? I,m still working on getting a parts manual for this truck as far as specs go for my 1937 let me know what you think may work best and thanks Earl
