Hy red58 and guys, My reference is parts catalog no. 330, 1938-1951. According to that catalogue there were no 3/4 ton rated trucks in 1939 Chevrolet production, 1431 was a chassis w/flat face cowl, 1432 was a chassis w/cowl, 1433 was a chassis w/cab 1435 was a panel delivery, all rated at 1 ton according to this catalogue, I can only quote what is in front of me, hope that clarifies.
