I have the old door panel frames and a header panel that does not fit so I think I will cut it up for the doors. I figure it will look ok and it wont cost anything.
I just finished rebuilding my speedometer tonight. I broke the pin that drives the needle taking the needle off. Don't ask how it just came apart. I ended up cutting the pin back and epoxying a new custom ground piece to it using the insulation from a 14 ga wire as a splint. I can't even believe it works fine. Of course i don't know how accurate it will be but seeing that I have bigger tires than stock it wasn't going to be accurate anyway.
