I sold a boat once that displaced 15,000 pounds to a guy who came to pick it up with a 3-axle trailer pulled by an 80's Ff.. Ffff, Fuh, ff, uh, one of those other things, a van with a 300 6 cyl. and a 3-speed standard trans. He was going over the rockies to Manitoba, a trip of 1,300 miles, give or take. I have no idea if he made it, but I know he looked OK when he left. Get brakes, and go ahead.
