I think that it's just that, a 1 ton cab on a 1 1/2 or 2 ton chassis. It's definetly the heavier chassis. Also, look at the plate in the door jamb. 8800# GVW?? Not on a truck of that capacity! I'm going to venture to say that at one time, that truck had some sort of PTO driven device, perhaps a dump bed? The seller certainly doesn't know what he really has.
